Valdibella extra virgin olive oil is produced using olives from organic farming grown on the lands of the cooperative members in the Campo Reale areas of Sicily.
The olives come from Cerasuola, Nocellara del Belìce and Biancolille plants, capable of adapting to different types of soil, they find their maximum expression in a Mediterranean climate, on hills with low water stagnation and the presence of clayey soils producing high quality olives.
Our farmers' attention to biodiversity by reducing soil processing to a minimum; olives are harvested manually from mid-October to mid-November when the olives have reached a degree of ripeness of 70%.
In general, insecticide treatments are not used, if necessary, copper-based products or agricultural chalk are used.
The extra virgin olive oil obtained has a green color with golden reflections and an acidity of less than 0.3%
The olives are milled within 24 hours of harvesting, strictly cold, with temperatures below 27°C. Extraction occurs in a continuous cycle. The extracted extra virgin olive oil is then stored in steel silos, it is decanted naturally and not filtered.
Store in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to pour the entire can into dark glass bottles.
