    Chestnut honey is obtained from the flowers of the chestnut tree, a plant present in large quantities in the woods of the Ligurian hinterland.

    It is a dark-coloured honey, the flavor is complex and the aroma is particularly aromatic and intense.

    Chestnut honey is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Rich in proteins and vitamins B and E, it contains a good dosage of mineral salts.
