Grape seed oil is obtained from carefully selected grape seeds.

During the winemaking process, the cellars separate the grape marc from the must and send it to the distilleries to obtain grappa. The distilleries in turn separate the grape marc from the seeds using a sieve, which are dried and cooled to keep the acidity level low. The seed in the oil mill is rolled, i.e. flaked, to obtain excellent oil extraction, which occurs through the mechanical process of pressing at a moderate temperature with the aid of continuous presses.

Grape seed oil contains various vitamin factors (A, E and B6) that have an antioxidant effect. Its main nutritional characteristic is linked to the high content of linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid, the founder of the omega 6 series, which contributes to maintaining normal levels of cholesterol in the blood. It is an excellent oil, particularly appreciated for its lightness and high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is the only product of its kind to have a high content of polyphenols, substances that function as powerful antioxidants.
