G.H.A. Europe Srl was born in 2004 within the Remet group, a Bolognese company founded by Prof. Franco Cicerchia. Present on the market since 1970,

Remet is a leader in the field of metallography and metal analysis. In 2005, Prof. Cicerchia acquired, for the European Community, the Japanese patent GHA (Golden Hard Anodizing), having understood its potential for application in various sectors: automotive, automatic packaging machines (for food, medicines, etc.), boating, household appliances, housewares and mechanics in general.

The location of GHA within the packaging valley determines its fortune. Precisely in the field of packaging, the performance of the treatment proves to be crucial: lightness, resistance to wear and corrosion and antibacterial properties are in fact essential characteristics to measure up to the high standards of efficiency and safety required by the packaging processes.

Pots, and food and drink containers in general, can release substances that are dangerous to the human body. Heavy metals such as lead, copper, tin, zinc, nickel, chromium or iron, and alloys such as cast iron, have a toxic effect on the liver, kidneys and glands.

Light metals, such as aluminum, instead have a neurotoxic action and can induce neurodegenerative diseases.

Furthermore, after wear, pans subjected to non-stick treatments also release particles from the films used for the coating.

Anodic oxidation, on the other hand, acts as a seal and prevents any transfer by the metal, and it is for this reason that it is also called metal-ceramic.

Moreover, the GHA treatment cannot be removed, therefore it does not release any type of molecule even after long use.
