    Sweet Almond Oil - cold pressed Nuova Olearia Scaligera

    The oil is obtained cold, by mechanical process, from the seeds of sweet almonds, fruit of the Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis.

    Almond oil is made up almost entirely of unsaturated fatty acids, in particular oleic and linoleic acid.

    It contains various vitamin factors including vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) which is a fat-soluble antioxidant (which dissolves in fats) that counteracts the production of free radicals, proteins and mineral salts (zinc, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium).

    Suitable for use in Ayurvedic massages.

    Preferably a raw to season salads and vegetables, flavor white and red meats, fish.

    Given its delicate flavor, it lends itself to being flavored with essential oils, herbs or extra virgin olive oil.

    It can also be used for pizza and bread dough and other baked goods.

    Sweet almond oil is practically odorless, particularly suitable for delicate skin, dry and dehydrated skin.

    Often used in combination with essential oils for multiple uses such as massages and Ayurveda treatments.
