    Those of Mulino Val d'Orcia before being master pasta makers are farmers and that's what makes the difference!

    The Tuscan pici are made with stone ground organic flour mill in the company, drawn in bronze and dried slowly at low temperature.

    The Tuscan pici, like other types of pasta mill Val d'Orcia is a handmade product, the surface is extremely porous and able to retain sauces; simply savoring even with good extra virgin olive oil you can recognize their unique taste. The paste has a characteristic amber color.

    Mulino Val d'Orcia pasta is produced using precious varieties of ancient grains, organically grown on the farm such as: Senatore Cappelli durum wheat and soft wheat Verna which give the product the amount of fibers and minerals more than industrial products, maintaining unchanged lipid properties of vitamin wheat. The paste obtained is more balanced and more easily digestible and especially with a lower glycemic index.
